Design Distill had the pleasure of creating visualization for Reed Hildebrand and Trahan Architects and the National Arboretum. The concept of designing spaces for admiring bonsai trees and viewing stones was compelling for us. Specific viewing angles and display cases were designed for each tree and stone, originally from China and Japan. The courtyards offer transformative moments of respite, further curating the this unique space for a part of nature one does not see every day.
